Ingvar Kenne – Ike - is an internationally renowned artist who has been capturing portraits for over 30 years. He has published five monographs and exhibited internationally- England, France, Spain, Sweden, Brazil, Italy, Croatia, the USA, and Australia and more.

In 2009 he was awarded the National Portrait Prize at NPG in Canberra. He has been a finalist a total of eight times.

Kenne’s solo show, Citizen, opened at the National Portrait Gallery, in conjunction with a book launch in 2012, and has since toured five capital cities in Australia.

His latest monograph, The Ball is a right of passage study of regional Australia’s Bachelors & Spinsters Balls. It was launched during Paris Photo 2018.

His first feature film – The Land – has 6 official sections in festivals worldwide. It picked up best direction at the prestigious SNOWDANCE festival in Landsberg, Germany, 2022.

He lives and works in Sydney, Australia.
